No new posts The Flood and Geology
Flood geology is premised on catastrophism and the rejection of uniformitarianism. Uniformitarianism is the assumption in geology that all the Earth's physical characteristics are the result of slow processes, rather than rapid catastrophy. Flood geologists also reject radiometric dating, because they believe the multitude of radiometric dating problems make it so unreliable as to be useless. Instead, flood geologists explain strata with reference to catastrophes like the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, which carved out enormous canyons and laid down large amounts of rock strata within the space of a single day.

No new posts Intelligent Design
ID is not based on religious doctrine. Many ID advocates are not Christians, Jews, Muslims, or part of any other religious persuasion. Some ID theorists even support the idea of common descent. ID is most clearly distinguished from religious creationism in that it makes no claims about the identity of the creator or designer, nor does it use references from scripture when forming theories about the history of the world. ID simply postulates that certain features within the cosmos present clear evidence of being deliberately and intelligently designed.

No new posts The Fossil Record
Today fossilization is an extremely rare event and is simply not expected to occur on a global scale. Decomposition is instead the rule following death, unless the matter is buried rapidly and to a depth that would prevent microbial digestion and oxidation. Hard shelled animals that burrow into sediment are somewhat expected to be found as fossils, along with large and heavy bones through chance circumstances. However, every kind of animal alive today is found in the fossil record. Many of these are completely intact, and some specimens show literally no signs of decomposition. Other evidence such as polystrate fossils, or the fact that marine fossils are found throughout the geological column, points strongly to a flood-based interpretation of the fossil record. It should also be noted that many of the animals alive today are virtually identical to their fossilized ancestors, which argues strongly against their having been fossilized million of years ago.

No new posts Abiogenesis
Evolution is an attempt to offer a naturalistic explanation for the existence of our complex ecosystem. On creation vs. evolution debate forums, evolutionists frequently claim that abiogenesis is not a part of evolution. This debate tactic is simply used to avoid the issue because it has never been proven despite repeated attempts under every conceivable circumstance. What do you think?

No new posts Age Dating
The real heart of the age-of-the-earth debate (if "debate" is the right word) is always radiometric dating. There are lots of ways to guesstimate ages, and geologists knew the earth was old a long time ago (and I might add that they were mostly Christian creationist geologists). But they didn't know how old. Radiometric dating actually allows the measurement of absolute ages, and so it is deadly to the argument that the earth cannot be more than 10,000 years old.

Ultimately the creation vs. evolution controversy is regarding the origin of humans. Evolution is a theory that is attempting to explain our existence through atheistic mechanisms. The theory proposes that life originated abiogenetically, and organisms evolved into increasingly more complex forms eventually giving rise to humans. Creationists on the other hand, typically interpret the Genesis account literally, and believe that humans were created at the beginning along with the many kinds of organisms required to sustain life on earth. Although humans are made with the same biochemistry, we are distinct from animals and subject to God's judgment.

No new posts Astronomy
Because the creation of our universe was a supernatural act, we may never understand factors such as the delivery of light from distances, which seem to indicate a very old universe. Physicists say that light from far off galaxies must have traveled through space for billions of years to reach us, and events such as supernovas occurred before life ever existed on Earth. However, the Biblical chronology dates the universe as equal to that of the Earth or just over 6000 years old.

No new posts Catastrophism
Catastrophism is the doctrine which postulates that major changes in the earth's crust result from catastrophes processes. Catastrophism dominated geologic thought until early in the 1800s when [[James Hutton]] and [[Charles Lyell developed the principles of uniformitarianism. Prior to the acceptance of uniformitarian concepts, most geologists believed the earths fossiliferous strata was the result of the Biblical global flood of Noah.

No new posts Cosmology - Big Bang Physics
A growing number of critics now question the big bang origin of the universe. On May 22, 2004 An Open Letter to the Scientific Community was published in New Scientist, challenging the hypotheticals that bridge the gap between this theory and observations. On July 23, 2005 the Crisis in Cosmology conference was held in Portugal by the Alternative Cosmology Group to consider the present state of understanding of the universe in the light of the increasing number of observations that challenge the conventional cosmological model.

Creation or Evolution?
No new posts Dinosaurs
Evolutionary scientists tell us that dinosaurs have been extinct for over 65 million years, long before the first humans evolved. Many people assume that the mere existence of dinosaurs (and their fossils) discredits the Bible and is proof of evolution. But what does the Bible say about dinosaurs? Is there any evidence that they lived at the same time as people? What about recent findings of red blood cells and still elastic soft tissue in dinosaur bones? This presentation will show how a proper understanding of these amazing creatures confirms Scripture and can be used as an evangelistic tool to help point people to the Creator.

No new posts Is Creation Belief Science?
The Biblical mandate to "subdue" the earth (Genesis 1:28) requires us to understand it, which is what science is all about. "Creation Science" is simply the practice of science with The assumption and acknowledgement that there is a creator God, versus the now standard operating assumption of naturalism (that nature is "all there is").

No new posts Giants?
Did giants really exist? What did you think of the list of finds of human footprints as fossils. The interesting thing is that science will do anything to avoid dealing with these prints. Are they fake or real?
